The project will culminate in a mini-series of concerts and events presenting key works by Reich alongside a series of world premieres by Purcell students & staff responding to his output. At the centre of the main evening concert on the 25th November in the CP Hall will be Reich's Radio Rewrite - his reimagining of music by Radiohead - alongside Radiohead songs and Reich's Quartet. Purcell Rewrite will form a collection of short student miniatures created especially for the project, creating a broad, interdisciplinary celebration of influence, reinterpretation, and new creative work.
